You may recognize many of the scenes in my paintings which are from around the state of South Carolina. I have painted in many of the South Carolina State Parks: The Spiderlilies at the Landsford Canal State Park, the Hunting Island Lighthouse, Table Rock State Park, Huntington Beach State Park. Other familiar sites include the Myrtle Beach Pavilion. Many of my oil paintings are painted in plein-air or open-air and have a style of Impressionism. Recently, I have started painting using realism in the studio. Another recent development in my career is painting christian art. I have painted two large acrylic paintings in church that have religious themes. For God So Loved the World, depicts the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the Adoration of the Shepherds depicts the nativity.
